Are you a head coach that wants to develop his or her skills on and off the pitch towards the highest rugby level in The Netherlands? You have the chance to work with a rough diamond: the first team of Rugby Club Groningen. This team is currently performing in the top of the ‘Eerste klasse’ and is always looking for ways to become better as a team.
What you’ll be working with:
Rugby Club Groningen is growing rapidly. Within the last 5-10 years the membership numbers have grown exponentially. Currently the club has: 4 men’s teams, a women’s team and youth teams in every age category. With this growth, the ambition also develops. The first team has seen two championships (and promotions) in the last eight years. The last four years they have been playing in the second highest level (eerste klasse) and have been pursuing promotion in the last two.
